“I can't promise you a
podium, but I can promise you a damn good excuse.”

I want to race, and as you may or may not know, racing is pretty expensive. In fact, it’s sort of a waste of money. But, there’s something perverse that compels racers to go mindlessly around a track as fast as we can. We're hamsters with too much energy and no fiscal common sense.

If you offer bodywork, bike parts, racing gear, etc., and have been desperately seeking a 40+ Asian woman to throw your product at, I’m that woman. Accept no other 40+ Asian woman – they might be faster than I am, but I'm the only one willing to write you a touching story after each race: insightful, allegorical tales of on-track struggles that mirror the challenges of everyday human existence. Or some shit like that. At the least, I am confident that my race reports will make you snort your coffee out your nose no less than once per month.

If you have no product but would simply like to send some funds, I can live with that too.

My goal is to return to the track on a Honda 125 and/or a DRZ400-SM single (not available until spring ’05).

I did win two novice lightweight races and have podiumed with my Aprilia RS250. My personal best lap time at Willow Springs is a 1.33.33 on that bike. That doesn’t mean I’ll ever repeat any of that again, but I have a little more promise than the totally empty value of zero.

I bought my next race bike: a 2000 Honda RS125R. The race diary begins.

Due to recent developments in which I have come to realize I have a massive woody for dirt riding and not as painfully stiff of a woody for road racing, I will be putting racing on indefinite hold.
