This one is straight from the German Branch of the Tex-Mex Development Department at Frito-Lay. The contrasting flavors of salty ham, sweet mustard, and Cool Ranch Doritos create a taste sensation not known since the Asian Fusion Department at Laura Scudder created the 1960s culinary hit in which dried cuttle fish and chunky peanut butter topped deep fried Zig-Zag rolling paper. Ingredients: 5 slices deli ham 2 tablespoons Inglehoffer sweet mustard Handful of Cool Ranch Doritos Arrange meat in the center of the plate. If you only have one whole canned ham, scrape off gelatin and put aside for upcoming drink recipe. Smear mustard on top with a three-tine fork for that casual, "handmade" look. Lay Cool Ranch Doritos around edge of plate; for peak flavor, have as many pointy tips hang off the plate as possible so that the dish can breathe. Just before serving, toss in a bowl. Use of a meat-cubing hammer to further encourage a delicious mlange of meat and processed corn is optional. Serves: 1 to 2 Sodium Level: High Fat Content: Medium Racer Fuel Rating: 4 stars |
