Sure, it's just the Hot Wheels version of them, but there's no arguing that they're in my house. I like the models, but I'm rather disappointed that their helmets and clothes don't come off. Mattel saw it fit to make Barbie strippable down to her big-n-perky rack...what sexist decision maker decided that Troy and Ben's butts weren't good enough for The Big Show? In this particular diorama, Ben and Troy are practicing for a Cirque du Soleil-style show. They're supposed to ride their bikes towards each other, jump mid-air and then land on the other rider's bike – your standard "let's swap bikes without putting the kickstand down" routine. Troy's in perfect position to hop over, but it seems that Ben's hard-braking style bit him in the ass and he's about to do a painful endo over the bars. Not all is lost, however: Ben might still pull it off with a spectacular, if somewhat unplanned, aerial flip. Troy was later overheard saying that he wants to go to MotoGP because he thinks they won't make him do these dog-and-pony shows like SBK does. Obviously, he's never seen the "sword-and-fire" skit they force Rossi and Biaggi do on their bikes while wearing sequined leotards... |
