This was "Paradise East." Chris and I were the first to get there so we set up our canopy near the food vendor (what we care about). Michael came along later and said he was going to set up in the west paddock. Chris went down to find Michael but couldn't (uh, CK didn't quite look hard enough) so we ended up staying along the pit wall. It was a nation divided. Well, more the Kelleys alienated. (This big gray canopy used to be our garage when we lived in an apartment.)

This was "Paradise West." Unfortunately, many of the participants were gone when we came around to take pictures. I think they had run off to a nearby Taco Bell for a lunch of champions.

This is the view across from Paradise West. I don't know who these guys are, but they sure got a nice checkered floor. Maybe some day the DRC can afford their own checkered floor. And bike stands. And a big ass trailer. With air conditioning.

Andy's bike was a tad bit shinier when the day started. Instead of packing it in and going home after the crash (which he couldn't have done anyway since he carpooled with Greg), he sat in the stands and cheered us on. Had we'd of known we had an audience, more of us would've done rolling stoppies through turn 1 to show off.

Tim has 88 on his bike. I think he chose that because when the bike's laying on its side, it looks like two infinity symbols. This basically tells the world, "I can lay here for infinity if I want." The left side of the tank is nicely wonked from a crash he had last time he was at Willow.

Ben showed up while we were at the track. Here's Ben heading out on his stock Monster. I think he's looking around for me. He doesn't realize I've stowed away under his seat. When stalkers are serious, they can get real creative.

This picture makes me wonder: Would most of you guys rather be the girl or the bike? Ducati love, eh? (And yes, I blocked out the strategic parts so as to not offend sensitive folks like yourselves.)
