. 1995 Ducati 900SS CR ........................

. $4,500

My first Ducati - "Baby" - has been sold. May the new owner find as much joy from this bike as I did...

  • I am the original owner.
  • Bike has always been garaged. Dogs are not now, nor have they ever been, allowed to urinate on it.
  • This bike has not been abused by wheelies, although I did do one on this bike that was about 5 millimeters off the ground as I left a stoplight in hurry.
  • It has 29,000 well-maintained miles.
  • Foam was removed from the seat to bring it down to 29 inches.
  • Bike is completely safety-wired for the track. In the first picture you can see the catch can for the hoses.
  • Treasure Island skeleton that sits behind the windscreen is yours for FREE!
  • I have the uncut foam from a 900SS in case the owner wants to replace the seat foam (included with sale).
  • California Cycleworks will sell you Keihin carbs at dealer cost if you want to make that upgrade.
  • Modification history here.

There are a couple of things I want to point out so prospective buyers don't waste their time:
  • There are a few nicks and smudges on the rear tail bar.
  • The bodywork above the right turn signal is lightly damaged. This resulted from a drop in gravel. I never did fix it; you can see in one of the pictures that red duct tape over the damage makes is hardly noticeable. I took the tape off so you could see exactly what the damage looks like.
  • The right side pipe has a few gravel dings in it from the same drop.
  • There's a little bit of staining on the left side engine cover from a cleaner that didn't get rinsed off fast enough. It left a few streaks.
