Born: Some time in the 60s in Appleton, Wisconsin. Favorite Snack: Donuts. Favorite Drink: Donuts, except for the occasional adult hankering for Baileys. Favorite Bike: 1982 Kawasaki KZ1000 S-1. Favorite Modern Bike: Any R1 with a full tank. Yellow 748s make me stand at attention. Bikes Owned: 1999 Honda XR100, 1986 Yamaha SRX600 (2), both disassembled and in boxes. 1983 KZ750L3, refuses to start, is now a semi-portable place to stack jackets and kid's snowsuits in the garage. Favorite Rider: Tom Kipp, who is also my best friend and godfather to my youngest son, Kipp (yes). Favorite Non-Family Rider: DuHamel or Mladin, depending on the day, simply because their will and desire to win oozes from them like blood from a civil war stomach wound. Racing is about winning, a lot of people don't get that. Why He's Better Than Most of Us: The sole perk of my job is that I can borrow any bike I feel like riding from the manufacturers. Distinctive Physical Trait: Skin on my hands is as soft as a baby's bottom, which, with my blue collar background makes me a traitor to a way of life. Nothing on my face needs to lanced. Butchered Statement From Bobby Kennedy's Eulogy That Best Describes AMASuperbike.com: "Some men see things as they are and wonder why. At AMASuperbike.com we see things as they are and wonder WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?" |

Thanks, Dean... ...for competing in these Literary Special Olympics. On the surface you appear caustic, but in truth you are like an onion that has been in the field too long: made of many, many layers, some thicker than others, some smellier than others. Keep up the fine work and to quote Bono, the spokesman for our generation, "Don't let the bastards grind you down." |
