INTERVIEW YOUR HEROES YOURSELF!!!!

Starting February 2000, Alpinestars will offer racing fans the opportunity to submit questions for interviews with some of the top motorcycle stars in the world.

Each month on Alpinestars web site (www.alpinestars.com) riders as diverse as Kenny Roberts, Jeremy McGrath, Max Biaggi and Mick Doohan will have their own "homepage" featuring pictures, interesting facts and an interview with the rider.

The interview is where the fans play an important role. Out of all the questions sent through the web site or directly to [email protected], the rider of the month will choose the questions that will make up the interview. The people whose questions will be chosen will receive a poster signed by the rider.

The first rider online was Mick Doohan, whose interview will be on line starting February 1st. Edgar Torronteras followed, with a deadline to send him questions set on January 31st. Starting from February 1st to the end of the month, fans can submit questions for the new rider online

Sample questions to get your thought processes going:
  • Does the green hair dye give you a rash? Gave me a rash.
  • We loved the Evel Knievel theme. We dug Captain America. Now how about Barney?
  • Are you a vegetarian who eats meat? I personally think it's the thought that counts.
  • If I buy you your own laptop, will you be my chatroom slave?
  • Does it bother you that "pit" is used in both "pit lane" and "armpit"?
